The Independence Day of Georgia was celebrated in Turkey with “Teliani Valley” wines 26/05/08-4/06/2008. The Embassy of Georgia to Turkey celebrated the Independence Day of Georgia in Ankara, capital city of Turkey, by arranging A Week of Georgia. The 31st of May and the 1st of June of the Georgian Week were given to tasting of “Teliani Valley” wines. ”Teliani Valley” wines were tasted by representatives of the political elite and diplomatic corps of Turkey as well as journalists interested in Georgian wine. “Teliani Valley” wines - “Mukuzani”, “Unfiltrated Saperavi”, “Tsinandali”, “Tsolikauri”, “Teli” and “Chacha aged in oak” won approval during degustation. In addition to Georgian wines tasting, the guests had an opportunity to enjoy Georgian folklore, Georgian songs performed by folk ensemble “Lashari”.
