"Teliani Valley" took two silver and three bronze medals in “Wine for Asia 2009”
For the first time “Teliani Valley” participated in the yearly contest “Wine for Asia” in Singapore.
For about 300 wines of different countries were presented, among of which Georgian wine deserved two silver and three bronze medals. By silver medal were awarded "Saperavi Unfiltered" and "Napareuli" red, by bronze medal were awarded: "Akhasheni", "Khvanchkara", "Tsinandali Aged in Oak".
Jury was very representative, as well-known sommeliers were invited from Austria, China, Italy, Singapore and Japan. Jury tasted wine through “Blind Tasting” method and revealed winners.
Beside Georgia following countries were participating in the festival: Austria, China, France, Italy, Portugal, etc.
