Joe Cocker liked Khachapuri the most
On June 19, Joe Cocker honored with his presence m|group restaurant “In the Shadow of Metekhi”. While the visit to the restaurant Mr. Cocker and the members of his band tested Georgian dishes for the first time.
Rock legend usually avoids testing national cuisine while being on a concert tours, however he was not able to resist Georgian one. Among all the Georgian dishes presented to Mr. Cocker “Mkhali” and “Khachapuri” attracted his particular attention.
Restaurant evening performance included Georgian folklore - songs and dances. Guests were in pure rapture, especially impressed by Mtiuluri –dance with daggers.
Joe Cocker did not taste Georgian wine as does not drink spirits any more. He accepted Teliani Valley present, red dry wine “Teliani”, which the singer took to Colorado as a gift to his wife.
“Peace and Love – Joe Cocker”, this kind of inscription was left on a Teliani Valley red wine bottle by Joe Cocker.
