The Teliani Valley JSC Company is steadily expanding its vineyard plantings in different micro zones In summer of 2007, the Teliani Valley Company acquired the total of 56 hectares of mature vineyards in Kvareli region, Tsnandali and Ikalto villages by 10, 15 and 31 hectares respectively planted with 5-year ?old grape roots. Despite the impact caused by the Russian ban on Georgian wines the Company is well on the development track and is planning to plant other 50 hectares of vineyards by the end of this year. Nevertheless, the Company will continue accepting grape crops from the wine grape growers during the 2007 grape season, despite increase in the vineyard area of its own.
