Mukuzani in“Wine Spectator”
World’s leading wine magazine, Wine Spectator gave highest evaluation to Teliani Valley’s wine Mukuzani. 15 000 types of wine of various wine produces from around the world, were presented at the competition. Degustation was done with so-called blind-testing method – the bottle was specially packaged so that sommeliers and jury did not know the name of the wine and producer country. Scores ranged from 85 to 88. Teliani Valley’s red dry wine Mukuzani was given 88. Chief editor of Wine Spectator, Thomas Mateus dedicated a special article to this fact. He notes that in Georgia 70% of vineyards are in Kakheti region. History of Mukuzani is related to area. It is a pity, that such a distinguished wine, with an exquisite taste, is not well-presented in US – says Thomas Mateus.
