SAMTAVRO New High Class Wine by Teliani Valley
At the end of 2018, the Company "Teliani Valley" offered to the consumers new premium wine "Samtavro". Wine presentation was hosted by wine bar “8000 mosavali”. Invited guests had possibility to taste "Samtavro" selected wines and talk to Temur Dakishvili, the chief winemaker of "Teliani Valley" Company. Presentation of "Samtavro" was headed by Zaza Grigalashvili, WSET Certified Sommelier of “8000 mosavali” and Sommelier Association of Georgia.
The name "Samtavro" emphasizes the brand values and its meaning expresses the high quality of the product. According to this, the brand visuals, major and manor emblems were created. Thus, one of the main visual elements is the metaphor of the tower. "Samtavro" combines three wines - Saperavi Reserve, Teliani Reserve and Mtsvane aged in oak barrels. Each of them expresses the Georgian traditional principality tower. The concept and design was made by agency "More Studio". Designers together with our winemakers have chosen high-quality bottles and corks, as the wine has prolonged ageing potential. Gift packages were also created.
Saperavi Special Reserve is made from the high quality Saperavi indigenous grape variety, picked in Kondoli vineyards during the late autumn harvest. The wine is aged in a French oak barrels for 12 months.Intense yet balanced tannins create long and exotic aftertaste.
ACO, dry red wine “Teliani” is made solely from the noted Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety, cultivated in Kakheti region, within the protected “Teliani”micro-appellation. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 12 months, creating an ideally balanced full bodied wine composed of velvety tannins.
“Mtsvane Special in oak” is made from the high quality, handpicked grape of “Mtsvane”. The wine is aged in a French oak barrels for 6 months. It is distinguished by the complex aromas of vanilla, candied nuts, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Wine lovers can already buy "Samtavro" in wine-specialty stores and supermarkets.
